We at
Heathfield will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality
and privacy of all our services users within a warm and caring atmosphere,
and in so doing, be sensitive to the service users’ changing needs. Such needs may be medical, therapeutic,
cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. Active participation in the development of
individualised care planning in which the involvement of family and friends
(where appropriate) is greatly valued. This is
achieved through programmes of activities designed to encourage mental
alertness, self-esteem, social interaction with other service users and with
recognition of the following core values of care which are fundamental to the
philosophy of our home. CORE VALUES OF |

All staff
within the home will be appropriately qualified to deliver the highest
standards of care. A continuous staff
training programme is implemented to ensure that these high standards are
maintained in line with the latest initiative and developments in care
practices as may be laid down in appropriate legislation, regulations and
guidelines. VIEWS “I couldn’t possible have made a better decision
on a care home for my mother than Heathfield House …… She was always safe, settled and
contented among people she (and I) came to think of as family”. “The care you gave my Aunt was not just nursing,
it came from the heart and we too felt the genuine affection you gave. There was never a bad time to visit and
always time for a chat and reassurance. “It is such a homely place, Royality could not
be looked after any better” “Most of all we appreciated the quality of the
staff who work at Heathfield: everyone ,whether Management, Nursing Staff,
carers, Caterers or Cleaners, contributed to the well-being of the
residents. We were extremely fortunate
to have found Heathfield, it is an exceptional place. “We are so pleased that when Mum had to go into
a Home she was able to come to Heathfield as we have found you to be such
lovely and caring people and have always felt that Mum was getting the best
possible care” |
